Life Lately....

Well I finally got a minute to sit down and write, it's been busy round here. Since my last post Noah has turned 3 years old and has started preschool. He got into preschool because of his speech delay, and I can't believe how much he has improved just since he has started going. I like to believe that it's because of God though. We have had hands laid on him and asked the brethren to pray about it, and he is really starting to talk more where we can understand him. Isaac and Jonah both finished up their season of basketball. Isaac's team went to the championship game and won...yeah!!! Now they are both getting ready to start their baseball season. I really enjoy the baseball season. It's just something about being outside after being locked up all winter. This will be Isaac's second year playing and Jonah's first. I hope the both have a good season. Micah is now 3 and a half months old. He weights 16 lbs. and is 26 inches long. He is our chunky monkey. All you have to do is look at him and he will get to laughing. It is so cute! He can turn any bad day into a good one with his smile. It's amazing how the simplest things in life can bring such joy and happiness.

2 Months...

Well it has been 2 months now since Micah was born. He has changed so much. He know weights 13 lbs. and 3 oz. and is 23 inches long. He is for the most part sleeping through the night. He wakes up around 3-4 o'clock and eats, and then he wants to be awake for about an hour. Then he goes back to sleep, and sleeps the rest of the morning till about 8 am. He has the cuties smile, and it just melts my heart. He is starting to goo and gaa a lot more. He is a very alert baby and watches everything. he is such a joy to have. His 3 older brothers just love him and can't get enough of him.

The Works of God in our Life...

Well I went back to work this past Monday =( My first day back wasn't as bad as I thought it would be though. See Jimmy got hurt at work, and had to have hernia surgery a week and a half ago. So he is going to be off work until the beginning of March. So that was nice to have him home with the kids. Plus Frankie also took that day off because of some appointments that she had. How ever things are a little crazy at work right now with the Colts going to the Superbowl. I was suppose to have today off, but there is so much stuff that needs to be done around there, so I offered to go in and help out. Plus I'll get paid over time for it, and we can use that with Jimmy being off work. But through all this God has been here by our side. First off at work they won't hold a position for a part timer (which is what I am considered) unless you have been with the company for a year, when I gave birth to Micah I had been employed there for a year and three months. Then I'm not glad that my husband got hurt, but the timing has been nice with me having to go back to work. And last, but not least this past year Jimmy has had to work a lot of over time and be away from us. Well come to find out work mans comp will only pay 66 % of your annual gross income. With all the over time he worked this past year it put his amount right at what a normal check would have been. So all praise goes to God. He has been so good to us. He knew what we needed, when we had no idea. He turned a bad situation into a good one. I am so thankful to have him in my life, and to know that he will always be there for me, if I allow him to be!!

1 Month Already...

I can't believe our little guy is already a month old. Boy time sure does fly by. He is getting so big. I still can't decide who he looks like though. He has my mouth, the schoolcraft nose, and then he kind of has his own look. Although I do see each of the boys in him at times. He is starting to do better through out the night. Last night I got 4 straight hours of sleep. It is so amazing how different he is from when Noah was a baby. Noah never did spit up, and Micah does it all the time. Which I really could have done with out that. But if that's the least of my worries I will take it. I ask that you all might say a prayer. Noah has eczema real bad and he is also allergic to peanuts. I ask first that you might say a prayer for him with his eczema, it really itches him a lot, but also that you might pray that Micah doesn't have to go through this. Isaac never did have any and Jonah had some eczema, but nothing like what Noah has. And the allergies came out of no where. So if you think about it please say a prayer. Other than that we are all doing good around here. Life is getting easier with the new one around. Things have settled down, I guess you can say. All three boys love their new brother. Noah tries all the time to pick him up and to take care of him. So we have to keep a close eye on him. And then Isaac and Jonah are both older so they do real good with him. Isaac likes to just sit and look at him. He is going to make a good dad one day in the far, far future. But all thanks is to God. He has been so good to me. He has blessed me with four wonderful boys. Each one is a blessing in their own way. And I will forever be thankful for each one!!

Sledding Adventures...

This past Saturday afternoon we took the kids out sledding. They had so much fun playing in the snow. We were blessed with the company of Sis. Jackie, Bro. Johnny, Jada, JoHannah, my sister Becky, and my niece Connie also. All though I think the two oldest boys, Johnny and Jimmy, got into the sledding the most. But all in all it was fun to be out there and see all the smiles on their faces, even though it was freezing!!!

Potty Training...

So here about two weeks ago we got serious about potty training Noah. And to much surprise he has done really good with it. He still has his accidents, mostly when it comes to going number 2. But they say that is the hardest part of potty training. I can't believe he is going to be 3 on February 22. It seems like I went in to have Micah and, when I came home Noah was all grown up. As most of you know he also struggles with his speech, he has a delay. Well here lately he has been doing a lot better with this also. His speech therapist was here today, and she even made a comment about how well he was doing. I am so thankful for how well he is adjusting to all the new changes, and I know that God has been there to help every step of the way.
