So today was the first day of school. Isaac started 2nd grade, and Jonah started kindergarten. Isaac done just fine. He got up ate breakfast, brushed his teeth and then we walked down to the bus stop. Then there was Jonah. He really didn't do as bad as what I thought he would do. I thought we would end up having to take him to school. He got up with Isaac and he watched TV as Isaac ate breakfast. Then he walked with us to take Isaac to the bus stop. Then we came back and got him some food. Then we walked down to his bus stop. That's when he told me that his tummy was hurting. I got down with him and we said a prayer together. Then I sat and talked with him till his bus got there.

Bro. Jimmy recorded it as I took pictures and helped him get on the bus. I got him to wave to us and even got a little smile as the bus pulled away. I never told Jonah, but I wanted him to stay as much as he wanted to stay. It almost brought tears to my eyes. I can't believe how fast they grow up. Well I thought it was over, that was until around 9:00. The school called and said that Jonah had wet his pants. Jonah had said at the bus stop he ha

d to go, but we didn't have enough time to come back home. I told him to tell a teacher when he got to school, but I guess he didn't. So when I got to the school he just started crying. We got him all changed, and he had stopped crying by then. They wouldn't let me walk him back to class, but the school nurse gave him so gold fish and said she would walk him back. So now I sit here waiting for him to get home. It's all day kindergarten but today and tomorrow he only goes till 10:40 and on Friday he goes till 12:00. That way it gets them use to it instead of just throwing them into something that they are not use to. So if you think about it please continue to keep the boys in your prayer.

The poor little guy just wanted to stay home. I'm sure before long he will love going to school. My second son had a hard time adapting to school a first. Now he does great.
O my! I am sitting here fighting tears poor little guy. I will sure be praying for him. I hope he comes home and has good experiences to tell you about!!
Well he got off the bus with a smile on his face. I asked him if he was ready to go back tomorrow and he said yes. He said that he made a friend. So it turned out to be a good day. Thank you God!!

Poor little man! Poor Mom!! My heart breaks for you. It seems like yesterday that I was taking my kids to Kindergarden. Just enjoy it...no matter how sad cuz your going to blink and it will be all over and instead of watching him walk to the bus you will be watching him walking down the isle!
I'm glad he ended up having a good day. Ol' Ike Man is a pro at going to school now. He'll encourage his little brother and before you know it, Jonah Bob will be a pro too!
