Heading Out Friday...
Well we are heading out Friday afternoon (Lord willing) to head to Kentucky. I am so excited to be going. Just to be able to get away for a couple days and get to see all the brethren there. Plus it is so beautiful there. I love to just get out there and drive around, lots of hills and valleys. We plan on heading back on Monday, and then Tuesday is my hubby's 30th birthday. Not sure what we are going to do for him, I have to work noon to six. Maybe a special dinner or something, who knows? But I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, and I'll post about the trip when I get back.

Our Trip to the Children's Museum

This past Saturday we got to take a trip to the Children's Museum. I hadn't been to the museum since I was in school. So I really was looking forward to it. Plus we all got in free thanks to my husbands work, so that just made it that much better. We wasn't sure
how Noah would do so we were a little worried at first, but he ended up doing really good. They had a science area and the kids made boats and played in the water. Then we went from there and rode the carousel. This was Noah's first ride ever. Isaac ,Jonah, and Jimmy rode the ones that move up and down, and Noah rode one that stays still with me standing next to him. I think Jimmy was scared the most out of all of them. LOL!! Then we went and walked through the dinosaur are
a. That was lots of fun. The kids got to dress up as dinosaurs. The had a dig area were they could go and dig and find different bones(fake of course) and things. Then we went and walked through a train. And then we went on a tour of a tomb. The kids got to help dress a fake mummy. And then from there we just kind of walked around and looked at the different things. We had a really good day and we all enjoyed it very much.

I'm Pregnant!!!
So just to let everyone know, we are expecting another addition to our family. I am 7 weeks today. I do ask for prayer in this, my last pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. So if I come to your mind please say a prayer. But however we are excited about it, and can't wait to welcome the baby into our lives. Also there is another sister in our church, Sis.Holli, she too is pregnant and miscarried her last one. She is around 14 weeks pregnant, and this is her first child. So you might remember her in your prayers also.

First Baseball Game!!

This past Saturday was Isaac's first baseball game, and opening day. All the teams meet at one spot and then walked through town to the baseball fields. It was a beautiful day for this, sun was shining and the wind was blowing, oh how I love spring. But anyways this is Isaac's first year playing baseball, so we wasn't sure how he would do. It turns out he is pretty good at baseball. He was drafted to the Yankees. He tries to play all positions instead of just taking care of his. But he is very athletic. The way they do this age of kids is they let one whole team bat and then it is the other teams turn, the kids get six chances to hit the ball before it's the next kids
turn, and they don't keep score. Isaac was fourth from last in his batting line up. He hit the ball both times he batted and so did the next two boys. However the last little kid couldn't hit the ball, so Isaac never did get to make it home. But he done really good. So we are really proud of him and look forward to this season.

My Baptism
So here lately I have been thinking about my baptism. I thought I would share with all my sisters how thankful I am that God chose me to be one of his children. This September will be my 5th year since I started my walk with God. See my sister and I were living on our own when I was 15 and she was 18 years old. We both worked at this restaurant called Zydeco's New Orleans Grill next door to where we lived. So being that young and not having any one around to tell us what to do we pretty much done whatever we wanted to do. Well also working at this restaurant were two sisters in the faith. They would say things and I just totally blew them off. I didn't want to hear what they had to say. I was having fun, or so I thought. We worked together for about 3 years before I finally came to church. I first stepped into the church January of 2004. I went for a couple months and then stop. I started to realize that there was more to this life than what I had, and it scared me. I still continued to hang out with the sisters, so I didn't leave totally. August of 2004 my sister, a friend of hers, and I took a trip to Florida. Well while we were down there a hurricane hit. We had know it was coming but it was on the other side of Florida. Well lets just say the hurricane changed direction and came straight across land. We were on the 20th floor and I remember waking up to water pouring in the windows and sitting in a chair swaying back in forth. So as soon as I got back home I started going back to church. August 29 this sister and her family and I went out to eat after church. As we sat there talking about things I told her I wanted to be baptized. We called Bro. Jerry and he talked to me about it. He asked me if I was sure about it, and I all I could say was I have never been more sure about anything. So the following Wednesday night before church I was baptized. The following Sunday we had the Lord's supper and I have been ever so thankful since then. God has been so good to me. He gave me a good husband, three very handsome boys, great in-laws, and a wonderful family in Christ. So the thought came on my mind what have I done for God? Do I make God happy? I try, I know there are things that I need to work on. And so I ask for prayer, that I would be a person that is pleasing to God. That my eyes and ears would be open. And that I would be willing to do any and everything that the Lord puts before me. That I would be in subjection to my husband as God wants. Not that I am horrible, but this is something I do struggle with. I am a very strong willed person, and I need not to be so much. But I know with God's help I can do anything.

So Much, But So Little..
Sorry I haven't been on here much lately. I have been so busy around here with work and trying to keep up with the house work. I feel like I have been going non-stop, but not a lot talk about. We got a new manager at work the end of January and she has been scheduling me a lot. Which is good I don't want to complain, but it's a lot of evening time and I don't get to see the two oldest boys or my husband very much. But on the same note there looks to be a FEC (front end coordinator) position coming available and she pulled me aside this past Saturday and said that if everything goes as plan that she wants me to take that position. Which is what I have been wanting to do, but only if it is GOD's will. So if you think about it please say a prayer about it. As far as Noah goes, he is still in diapers. He will go and sit on his potty, but he never does anything. But I am just taking it slow with him. When he is ready he'll go. You see Noah doesn't much talk. We put him in speech therapy this past November. He is doing so much better, but still not saying much. One thing they work on with him is signing. So he does do some signing and say a few words. But as you see his communication isn't all that great. So that's why I say when he's ready he'll go. Isaac and Jonah have finished up their basketball games. They both played really well and learned a lot. Isaac is going to play baseball this spring, so we are getting ready for that. Jonah decided that he didn't want to play any sports this spring. Which is fine by us. I think after he watches Isaac play he'll change is mind next year. They both get their report cards Friday. So I am excited to see how they have done these nine weeks. Isaac has moved up in math and reading both since his last report card. And Jonah is just a smart little thing, sometimes too smart for his own good. Jimmy is now in his baseball season. He coaches 7th - 8th grade baseball. They had try-outs last week, so now they have started their practices. His first game is April 7. This is his second year coaching, so I hope they have a good season. Wow as I sit here writing I guess I do have a lot going on.... So I will stop now before I write a book. I love you all and I will try not to take so long before my next post. Oh by the way Jimmy's heart has been messing with him lately. It will beat then wait a second or two then beat two beats real fast. So if he comes to your mind I ask that you might remember him in your prayers.
