Blessings of God!

I have to say The Lord has surely blessed me and my family the past week or so. His mercy on us is more than I could of asked for. While seeking him in one matter he allowed other prayers and situations to be handled as well. Our God is an awesome God and I am so undeserving of his mercy, but I am forever thankful!

One of My Favorite Verses....

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

GOD's Cake

Sometimes we wonder,'What did I do to deserve this?' or 'Why did God have to do this to me?' Here is a wonderful explanation......A daughter is telling her Mother how everything is going wrong, she's failing algebra, her boyfriend broke up with her and her best friend is moving away. Meanwhile, her Mother is baking a cake and asks her daughter if she would like a snack, and the daughter says, 'Absolutely Mom, I love your cake.' 'Here, have some cooking oil,' her Mother offers. 'Yuck' says her daughter.. 'How about a couple raw eggs?' 'Gross, Mom!' 'Would you like some flour then or maybe baking soda?' 'Mom, those are all yucky!' To which the mother replies: 'Yes, all those things seem bad all by themselves. But when they are put together in the right way, they make a wonderfully delicious cake! ' God works the same way. Many times we wonder why He would let us go through such bad and difficult times. But God knows that when He puts these things all in His order, they always work for good! We just have to trust Him and, eventually, they will all make something wonderful! God is crazy about you. He sends you flowers every spring and a sunrise every morning. Whenever you want to talk, He'll listen.
He can live anywhere in the universe, and He chose your heart...

Saying Hi!!!

Just wanted to get on here and say hi. It seems like it's been forever since I posted anything. I read the different post often, I just never post =( We all have been doing good. I've been staying busy with work and the boys. We're finally getting over our winter and getting into the spring. I think spring just makes everything that much better. The boys are starting to get ready for the baseball season. Isaac and Jonah are playing this year, however we decieded to hold off on Noah for another year. But I am sure Noah and Micah will be out running around. But all is well and I hope and pray everything is going well with each of you.

My Boys...

So as we were driving home from church tonight, I got to thinking about our boys(all 4 of them). Each one of them has their own little thing that defines who they are. Isaac is our video games and sports boy. He would play every sport there is if we would let him, in which he does play a lot. And then if he's not out playing sports he wants to be in playing video games. But I would have to say his passion for what he likes is what gets me the most. When he gets something in his head that he wants to do, then he gives it his all. And I love that about him. Jonah is our school boy. He likes to learn, but most of all he likes to read. One night Jimmy told him he was grounded to his room and all he could do is read, and his reply was, "OK I like to read". He makes mostly A's and some B's. And we don't even have to make him work at it, he does it all on his own. I love that he has this trait about him...the want to learn! Noah is probably the child that has given us the most run around. He is very active and tries to do want he wants. But he is so loving. Just out of the blue he will say "love you mommy" and "mommy hug". I walk in the door from work and I see him coming running and saying "mommy home". Even though he has a speech delay, he always knows what to say to make you smile, and I love it! And last his Micah. He is such a happy baby. He has a smile that can just melt your heart. He doesn't just smile with his mouth, he uses his whole face. You get these big blue eyes, two round checks, eight little white teeth, and a glow that is to die for! He can say so much with his smile, and I love it! But even though they all have their own traits that define who they are, they all have one thing in common, they are our gifts from GOD. And I love each and everyone of them for who they are!!

God's Mercy On Us....

So on our way home this afternoon, God showed his mercy to us once again. We had just left Jimmy's baseball cookout and we were just driving along talking, when all of a sudden we heard squealing tires. We had just started going cause we were at a red light, when we looked over there was a white van head right for us. Thank God the person realized and slammed on their breaks, or else they would have been sitting in my lap. I don't think I have ever come this close to being hit before. It scared us all. I don't think anyone said anything for a few minutes, outside of Jimmy saying "Thank You Lord".
